Construction workers at a Brazilian building site got the fright of their lives when they came across a giant snake of more than 10 meters long.
The enormous reptile reportedly weighed in at a whopping 400 kg. The snake was found after workers carried out a controlled explosion at a cave in the Alramira district in the north of Brazil as part of their construction work.

Some of the workers tied the snake up with chains. In the video you can see how the giant anaconda is being tied to a crane.
The video which was uploaded by YouTube user Alexandre Flores, has been widely criticized as it shows the construction workers crude behaviour towards the snake.

It is unclear whether the workers killed the snake but at one point he looks unconscious as he is chained up on the back of a truck.
One YouTube user commented on the video: “I'm not sure this is real, but if it is, shame on these people for killing it! A snake that big has probably been alive for a very long time now, just to be killed for a few pictures?? What a waste...”
