Scott Disick has “too much business” to do in Los Angeles to complete his stay in rehab, according to reports.

The reality star entered the Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica on March 16 to deal with his issues with alcohol. But less than a week into his treatment, the 31-year-old’s people confirmed to TMZ that he would be returning to Los Angeles on Monday.

“[Scott]will leave that facility Monday because he has too much business in LA to deal with,” the outlet reported.

'This is Scott’s fourth trip to rehab'

The father-of-three had allegedly booked a flight back to California on Saturday but didn’t get on it. When the website asked why, the source close to Scott said it was because he wanted to complete a full week of treatment before leaving.

However the normal length of time that clients spend at the centre is 21 days.

The star has been to rehab in the past, but his recent stint followed a night of drinking and partying in Atlantic City, which saw him down multiple shots of tequila.

“I realise my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle,” Scott said according to TMZ at the time.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s star has three children with partner Kourtney Kardashian, Mason, five, Penelope, two and Reign, three months.

It seems his short stay will come as no surprise to his loved ones, who were reportedly concerned that Scott had form when it came to leaving rehab prematurely.

“This is Scott’s fourth trip to rehab,” a source previously told Radar Online. “The [Malibu] rehab featured private rooms for patients, spa treatments, and gourmet food. Despite the luxurious surroundings, Scott left after only twelve hours. At that point, Scott just didn’t believe he had a problem, and thought he didn’t need to be there.”
