Beyoncé Knowles has purchased a pair of R3,9 million stilettos for her upcoming music video.

The feisty singer is known to go all out with her costumes when in front of the camera and she's set to impress once more in a forthcoming project. British brand House of Borgezie, based in Birmingham, have sold a pair of bejewelled Princess Constellation heels to Beyoncé, boss Chris Shellis has confirmed. The footwear is encrusted with 1310 diamonds weighing in at 65.60 carats and can be purchased in either platinum or gold.

'Beyoncé’s one of those fantasy customers'

Chris' company is based in the city's Jewellery Quarter and he is over the moon by the musician's interest in his work.

"It’s the ultimate – Beyoncé’s one of those fantasy customers. If you want someone to model your creations, you can’t get any better than Beyoncé," he told British newspaper Birmingham Mail.

The 33-year-old beauty had her people approach the brand a few months ago after spotting its shoes in an American article, reveals Chris, adding it was a quick sale.

“I’ve been told the stilettos are for her next video which should be out in the autumn," he said.

Beyoncé has worn pieces from a variety of high end fashion houses over the years, from Balmain to Versace.

For the music video for her and Nicki Minaj's song Felling Myself, which was filmed at Coachella music festival earlier this year, Beyoncé rocked items from her own personal closet for filming.

Stylist Marni Senofonte was behind the outfits for the video and recently spoke about collaborative Beyoncé was.

“You know, some of the clothes were actually Bey's. A couple of the bathing suits were hers and the rest we kind of just shipped out and had things made," she told US Elle.

“Bey was so cool. She was kind of like my first assistant on the job: 'We should wear this, Oh I have this.'"
