Jennifer Lopez's hairstylist Lorenzo Martin keeps a copy of all the looks they've done.

The stunning star has had a prolific music career, but also dabbles in acting now and again. She lent her voice to animated flick Home and looked stunning at the recent Hollywood premiere.

'We document all of her looks and go back to things that we loved'

Wearing a powder blue lace Zuhair Murad dress and Christian Louboutin shoes, Lorenzo helped to create her side swept waves.

"[We've worked together for five years now so] I keep a book. We document all of her looks and go back to things that we loved," Lorenzo told People.

"Old Hollywood [inspired this style]. Lauren Bacall is always a good reference for that. But because the event was in the morning, we also wanted her hair to be soft."

Jennifer was accompanied on the red carpet by her seven-year-old twins Emme and Max.

To go with her soft hair, make-up artist Mary Phillips created a shimmery eye look that was a hit with the star.

"[The look is] soft, sweet and princessy. She loved it! After about eight years now, I can almost tell how she feels about something, like telepathy," Mary smiled.

She used products from Charlotte Tilbury, Tom Ford and L'Oréal Paris, the brand that Jennifer holds an ambassador role with.

"[I sent her out with] blotting papers! It's so hot in LA, and with the flashbulbs, there's a thin line between her coveted glow and being too glowy," Mary revealed.

Using L'Oréal's Colour Riche La Palette in Nude to create the shimmery and smoky eye, Mary blended seven of the ten colours on offer.

"I love that this palette comes with a guide that tells you how to create different looks," she said.
