Sticky-glazed sausages with potato salad

Sometimes just a little bit of extra thought can change the ordinary into the extraordinary!

Preparation time: 5 min

Cooking time: 20 min

Serves: 4

8 chicken sausages

500 g baby potatoes

5 ml (1 t) wholegrain mustard

5 ml (1 t) apple cider vinegar

30 ml (2 T) oil

250 ml (1 c) sweet chilli sauce

½ red onion, sliced

salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 200 °C. Place sausages on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes.

2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft. Whisk mustard, vinegar and oil together.

3. Pour sweet chilli sauce over the roasting sausages and stir to make sure they’re well covered. Return to the oven for 10 minutes or until sticky.

4. Slice potatoes and place in a bowl. Add mustard mixture.

5. Serve the potatoes with sausage and onion rings.
