Taylor Swift was maid of honour at her childhood bestie's wedding

It takes a brave bride to have a gorgeous pop star as part of her bridal party.

Taylor and Britany have been best friends for most of their lives -- so there was no way Britany was saying "I do" without her world-famous bestie standing beside her.

"I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten," Taylor captioned a photo of the wedding party on Instagram. "Now they're married and I'm the happiest maid of honor ever. Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!"
Still, it takes a brave bride to have a gorgeous pop star as part of her bridal party. And the recent Album of the Year Grammy winner did look exquisite in a pink Reem Acra gown featuring a plunging, hand-embroidered bodice. But Britany stole the show in snow white short-sleeved silk taffeta ball gown and seemingly endless cathedral-style veil and train, also by Reem Acra.

Senior year.

"I've never been a maid of honor before. This is my first time, and it's really, really important to me because this is my best friend, who I've known since I was born," the Bad Blood singer told People last year.

YEAH I WILL. @britmaack

"And she's marrying [Benjamin LaManna] someone I've known since I was 4."

Freshman year.

Britany and Taylor have basically been friends since they were toddlers, and grew up riding horses together in Pennsylvania. Eventually Taylor followed her dreams to Nashville, but she and Britany never lost touch.

There was no sign of Taylor's own Romeo, Scottish DJ beau Calvin Harris at the romantic ceremony, but the musical couple will celebrate  a milestone of their own soon -- it's their first anniversary next month.

Could Brit and her bestie be trading roles at the altar sometime soon?
