The embarrassing Gmail glitch that could leave you red-faced

The glitch has been widely reported on social media and Google has been compelled to accept responsibility for the problem.

You’ve just finished an email you want to send a colleague about your awful boss and you’re about to click on send.

But beware! Check if the email is going to the intended recipient because there’s a Gmail bug that’s currently wreaking havoc with its autocomplete tool which means that email could just end up in your boss' inbox.

The autocomplete bug means Gmail may suggest the wrong address for the recipient of your email.

No timeframe has been set for fixing the bug so users are advised to be careful when using the service.
