There's something terrifying lurking in this adorable photo

Do you see it?

It's an adorable shot any mom would be proud of – but not all is as it seems in Bianca Dickinson's seemingly perfect pic of her daughter Molly.

An enormous eastern brown snake somehow managed to sneak into the Australian photographer mom's snap, slithering past just centimetres from little Molly.

"I saw something move out of the corner of my eye and thought it was bark falling from the tree as it was so windy... looked up to see this big mother of a brown slide past Miss Molly," Bianca wrote on Instagram.

According to Reptile Park, a bite from an eastern brown could cause diarrhoea, dizziness, collapse or convulsions, renal failure, paralysis and cardiac arrest. If not treated in time, a bite could be deadly.

This particular species kills more people than any other snake in Australia.

Luckily the serpent clearly had no interest in Molly.

"She didn't even notice it thankfully and is totally fine," Bianca wrote.

"I still haven't recovered!"

She added in a later post, "Maybe I will sleep tonight without seeing images of snakes or my daughter being rushed to hospital or worse running through my head."
