She left instructions detailing everything from what would go on her head to how she should be buried.

20-year-old Racine Pregunta's dying wish was to “die beautiful”.

And now, after losing her fight against cancer, her parents made sure she got her wish and more.

Racine, who’s from Davao City, in the Philippines, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer, in October last year.

Her family tried to raise money to pay for her medical treatment but the 20-year-old didn’t make it.

Her sister, Rolyn Pregunta. wrote on Racine's Facebook page, "It was April 12, 2017, before she informed everyone that she's ready to go. She had these requests: An off- shoulder white dress and a white flower band. The next day, she asked for something that's violet, blue, and mint green.”

Racine also asked to be laid to rest next to her father who had also passed away.

"She added: 'If I die, I want to die beautiful.’ She personally requested for Ate Gladys, who’s her personal make-up artist, to do her make-up. Today, your request is fulfilled and there, all I see is you, smiling," Rolyn wrote.

She posted this message alongside a picture of Racine laying beautifully in her open casket, dressed in the dress she requested, with her make-up done skilfully by her favourite make-up artist.

According to Rolyn, her sister, who’d previously modelled, made the request after being “inspired” by a 2016 Phillipines comedy, Die Beautiful.

The film is centered around a transgender woman who dies while being crowned in a beauty pageant.

According to the UK’s The Mirror, due to the cost involved in buying the adjacent plot, Racine was buried on top of her father's plot.
