Scientists have named the most attractive man in the world -- and the chosen one is definitely not who you would expect.

The big reveal comes after a list of famous men had their looks put to the test through facial mapping technologies by London-based surgeon, Dr Julian De Silva.

The facial mapping tech measures the eyebrows, eyes, the chin, facial structure, and jaw and compares those numbers to the ancient Greek idea of perfection.

"These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful," Dr De Silva told the Daily Mail.

"The Phi ratio of 1.618 has long been thought to hold the secret of beauty, and now with the computer mapping we can calculate exactly how it applies to men."

"The Golden Ratio was a mathematical equation devised by the Greeks in an attempt to measure beauty," she said.

The likes of Harry Styles, George Clooney, and Will Smith were put through the test and these were the results:
