Bindi was just 8 years old when her famous father Steve was tragically killed after being pierced in the chest by a stingray. Almost 9 years later, we can’t believe how much she has grown!
The 16-year-old wildlife lover has been following in her dad’s footsteps over the years. She has hosted several wildlife-themed TV shows over the years such as Bindi the Jungle Girl and Bindi’s Bootcamp.
The teenager plans to work full-time at the Australia Zoo when she turns 17 in July.

“We wanna make sure that his message of wildlife and conservation continues, because he was the world’s greatest conservationist and so we never want that message to die.” Her mom, Terri, who starred on The Crocodile Hunter with her dad, owns Australia Zoo.

Because family means everything.

“I have spent my entire life living in a zoo, which is pretty crazy,” Bindi told E! News. “Not many kids get to say that.”
