"She didn't want to leave me with all her heart but she has no other option.”

A Chihuahua puppy was rescued after e was abandoned in an airport bathroom – along with a heartbreaking note about his abusive past.

Chewy was found in Las Vegas airport after his owner fled from her “abusive boyfriend” and could not afford a ticket for her furry friend, according to a letter found next to the three-month-old dog.

"She didn't want to leave me with all her heart but she has no other option,” the handwritten note read.

The poor pup "probably needs a vet" the owner said, explaining how her partner would kick Chewy after they would have an argument.

"I love Chewy sooo much – please love and take care of him,” pleaded the dog’s owner in the note.

Chewy, who only weighs 3 lbs (1,3 kg), was picked up by Connor and Milne’s dog rescue (CDMR) – who are now searching for a suitable home for the little dog.

"He appears to be part Chihuahua and either Pomeranian or Papillon," the spokesperson for CMDR said.

"He is all puppy and is teething. He has had a fecal test and a dog flu shot and will get the rest of his shots and microchip in a few weeks and then will be neutered when he is old enough.”

CDMR somehow wants the owner to know that the dog is safe and that she can have her furry friend back when she wants to.

"That being said there are thousands of Chewy-type dogs out there in shelters all over the country and for people to go to a shelter or rescue to adopt a pet instead of buying one from," the hopeful spokesperson added.
