Tortilla with wors fricadels and Greek sauce

Serves 4

Preparation time: about 20 minutes

Cooking time: about 20 minutes

4 soft tortillas

300 g boerewors

handful of basil leaves


250 ml (1 c) Greek yoghurt

30 ml (2 T) mint leaves, chopped

1 small cucumber, finely grated

2 garlic cloves, crushed

salt and freshly ground pepper

Preheat the oven to 180 °C and cover a baking sheet with aluminium foil.

Squeeze the wors meat out of its casing and form it into small balls. Arrange the balls on the baking sheet and bake

for 10-15 minutes or until done.

GREEK SAUCE Place the grated cucumber in a sieve to allow most of the liquid to drain.

Put the drained cucumber in a clean dishcloth and press out the remaining liquid.

Mix the cucumber with the yoghurt, mint and garlic and season with salt and pepper.

Heat the tortillas in the oven or microwave oven.

Place them, the Greek sauce and the meatballs in an attractive serving dish.

Garnish with basil leaves and serve hot.
