Victoria Beckham has reportedly banned son Brooklyn Beckham from appearing on a reality show with his actress girlfriend Chloe Grace Moretz.

The 17-year-old and the Kick Ass actress officially started dating this year and now TV execs are said to be keen to get the young couple signed up for a reality show.

"American networks are desperate to sign them up," a source told Heat magazine. "MTV and E! are both interested apparently. Brooklyn's from one of the most famous families in the world, and Chloe's a Hollywood star."

TV bosses allegedly pitched the show after Chloe got into a heated Twitter spat with Khloe Kardashian earlier this month, and the actress' popularity spiked.

"(Execs) have been following Brooklyn and Chloe's romance for a while, and the timing for a show is perfect," the source told Heat. "They have legions of fans desperate to find out what their life together is like behind closed doors."

However, Brooklyn's famous mother has reportedly put a stop to the plans, and refused to let her eldest son in front of the cameras. Victoria did a mockumentary in 2007 called Victoria Beckham: Coming to America, which followed her relocation to Los Angeles after husband David Beckham signed a contract to play at soccer club LA Galaxy.

The former Spice Girl was panned for the show, and called self-indulgent, and has not done television since.

"Reality TV is not the kind of exposure they want," the source said. "She thinks Brooklyn is too young. He understands their concerns, but it has caused quite a lot of tension, because he likes the idea of using his celebrity status for a project."

Friends of the famous family say Victoria and David are keen for their eldest child to focus on his high-end projects, including photographing a Burberry fashion campaign and snapping celebrities at V Festival in the U.K. later this month.

Chloe hit the headlines after blasting Kim Kardashian for releasing a recording of Taylor Swift on the phone to Kanye West, seemingly approving the lyrics in his song Famous, where he calls the singer a b***h.

"Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world," Chloe wrote on Twitter shortly after the video was released on Kim's Snapchat.

"Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant," she added.
