VIDEO: Boy receives robotic arm from Iron Man

A young boy born with a partially developed right arm recently received a robotic limb from one of his heroes – Iron Man.

In the adorable video below, Alex Pring (7), from Florida in the US, is given a robotic arm by the actor Robert Downey Jr., who dressed up as Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, for the handover.

Alex’s new prosthetic arm looks just like Iron Man’s and was made by Limbitless Solutions, a volunteer group founded by Albert Manero, an engineering PhD student from the University of Central Florida. The group uses 3D printing technology to make free bionic arms for kids. Watch the video here:
