There's now an app available for frustrated parents worldwide!

Parents, are you tired of your teenager ignoring your messages, all-the-while being glued to their smartphones? If so, then here’s the app for you.

It’s called Ignore No More, and was developed by frustrated Texas mother-of-two, Sharon Standifird. She was livid one day after her children refused to respond to her calls and texts, and instead of confiscating their phones, decided to develop an app.

“When you lock your child’s phone with Ignore No More your child has only two options – he or she can call you back, or call for an emergency responder,” the app’s website says.

Parents who install the app on their children’s phone can set a password that can unlock the phone, forcing the child to call their parents back in order to retrieve the password and unlock their smartphone.

With one tap, the child has access to a list of parent-selected contacts. They can then call, get the password, and unlock their device.

“Anything she’s really set her mind to, she’s done,” Sharon’s husband William says. The mom has served in the Gulf War and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.

The app is currently available for phones running the Android operating system and costs $1.99 and is almost impossible to disable. Their website offers a list of 41 frequently asked questions (FAQs) for parents who want to understand it better.

Sharon’s son Bradley is not a fan of the app. “I thought it was a good idea, but for other people, not me.”
