Served alongside an ice-cold beer these #JustDelicious bunless hot dogs, with fried potatoes and sauerkraut, are going to be so popular you’d best double the quantities.

30ml (2T) olive oil

1 packet (350g) Eskort Frankfurters

1 onion, finely chopped

4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

30g butter

ground black pepper

500g sauerkraut

50ml German mustard, or mustard of your choice

  • Heat the oil in a medium frying pan over medium heat. Fry the Frankfurters until browned and cooked through. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  • In the same pan, fry the onion until just softened. Add the potatoes and butter and toss.
  • Season with salt and pepper and fry on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are cooked through and lightly browned.
  • Remove from the heat when done and set aside.
  • Serve the Frankfurters with a generous dollop of sauerkraut, the crisp potatoes and German mustard (or mustard of your choice).
