Magic no-mac and cheese

Nutritious and #JustDelicious for growing kids who don’t eat their veggies, our Magic No-Mac and Cheese will trick even well-trained taste buds!


500g Eskort Smoked Viennas, cut into coins

olive oil for cooking

125ml (½c) leeks, chopped

15ml (1T) chopped fresh thyme

60ml (¼c) butter

15ml (1T) chicken stock powder

60ml (¼c) potato starch

500ml (2c) milk

500ml (2c) cauliflower, chopped

500ml (2c) grated white cheddar

60ml (¼c) Panko breadcrumbs

salt and pepper 


  • In a large saucepan, fry the leeks and thyme in olive oil over moderate heat until glossy.
  • Add the butter, stock powder and flour and brown the flour for one minute.
  • Add the milk and mix until a sauce forms.
  • Add the viennas, cauliflower and 1 cup of the cheese to the sauce and mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking sheet or individual ramekins.
  • Top with the rest of the cheese and the Panko crumbs.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve with veggie crisps or low GI toast.
