If you have heard the phrase “Wanitwa mos” then you probably know the song is about to become a hit. Tzaneen-born musician and producer Master KG has cemented himself in the music industry with his track that took many people through the 2019 the festive season.
His biggest song to date, which had people of all ages singing along and dancing, has reached a 30 million views on YouTube. The gospel-inspired song Jerusalem, which features singer Nomcebo, is still at the top of the radio charts – six months of it dropped.
Master KG, real name is Kgaogelo Moagi, announced the big news on Twitter with a picture of him in his customised rose-gold car. “Jerusalem Video Just Reached 30 Million Views On Youtube New Album Dropping Soon Wanitwa Mos,” the producer wrote.
Just over a week ago, Master KG surprised fans by releasing the Jerusalem remix with the “African Giant” Burna Boy. Fans were impressed by the fact tBurna was singing part of the song in isiZulu and praising the unity of African artists. The remix has now reached 1 million views since its release, which Master KG was happy to announce.
Jerusalem has also been making waves internationally with a video from Portugal that Master KG brought to our attention. In the video, people can be seen dancing to a version of the “bus stop” dance.
