Connie and Shona Ferguson gracefully glide down the aisle with joyful smiles. Oozing happiness, they take in the intimate crowd of close friends and family who’ve gathered together to see them renew their vows for their 10th wedding anniversary.
Set on an immaculate lawn, close to picturesque lavender fields at the beautiful wedding venue Avianto, this ceremony of just 70 guests is a testament to love. Standing together at the altar, they can’t help but stare adoringly at each other.
A radiant Connie is breathtaking in a stunning ivory gown by designer Biji. The ivory sheath is a second skin, flowing out below her knees. The fitted gown with its corset-styled top is richly decorated with Swarovski crystals, pearls, silver beads and lace.
Connie just loves it and explains the romantic history of the dress to us later: “Biji did my wedding gown 10 years ago so I’m thrilled to wear her again today. This dress was a last-minute find and it feels just beautiful.” And Shona looks the perfect Prince Charming in his well-fitted suit and crisp Fabiani white shirt. His dark blue bow tie adds a touch of whimsy.
They look utterly composed and at ease, with no trace of the nerves that surprisingly surfaced just minutes before the ceremony.
