In March of 2020 as South Africa settled into a state-imposed lockdown, friends Phokeng Setai, Julie Nxadi, Dudu Lamola, Loyiso Qoboshiyana and Langelihle 'Day' Mthembu were settling into their formation Mutha_Ship Landing. Based in Cape Town’s industrial Salt River, the space opened its doors to the public at the end of October. Below Arts24 talks to some of the founding members about the location-based intervention.
