Theatre-maker, director, choreographer and advocate for South African arts Dawn Lindberg died on 8 December 2020 from an illness related to Covid-19. She was 75.

Best known as the founder and chief executive officer of the Naledi Theatre Awards, Lindberg’s performance-based career began almost six decades ago.
