Indaba Is is a compilation of improvised jazz by South African artists like The Brother Moves On, Bokan Dyer, Lwanda Gogwana, Thandi Ntuli as well as iPhupho L'ka Biko.

On 29 January 2021 record label Brownswood will release Indaba Is…: a compilation of improvised jazz by South African artists. The project is a curatorial collaboration between Thandi Ntuli and Siyabonga Mthembu. As co-directors Ntuli and Mthembu’s efforts see offerings from The Brother Moves On, Bokan Dyer, Lwanda Gogwana, Thandi Ntuli as well as iPhupho L'ka Biko.

Although the album is only being released next year, Studio Party is inviting the public to preview the compilation. 

Apart from the album preview audiences can expect an exhibition by Stuart Cairns. 

Tickets cost R250 to R300 per person. In addition to the performances, tickets will get you drinks on arrival, access to a listening booth and finger foods. 

The event takes place on 15 December 2020 from 6pm to 10pm.
