Sun International has joined forces with some of the biggest names in music, fashion, and entertainment to ensure a perfect 2020 vision for the Sun Met - Africa's Richest Race Day. The not to be missed showcase on every social calendar will take place on February 1st, 2020 at Kenilworth Racecourse. Join the cast of Visionaries as you share your interpretation of what it means to be a Visionary.

Kenilworth Race Course has housed the Sun Met since its inception and continues to be the perfect playground for race enthusiasts and lifestyle gurus alike. The Sun Met is known for its bold statements in theme and décor. The theme each year opens a doorway for fashion-fiends to dress for the extravagant occasion - no look is off-limit if it captures their interpretation of the theme. Each area within the event grounds has a little something for each person's desire including areas where you can watch the races, the red carpet where the attendees can strike their best pose, an area where the attendees may buy their refreshments and food, and the entertainment marquee where the fashion show, best dressed competition, and after party will all be held.

The Sun Met draws a diverse expanse of people to the event and exposes them to something new: be it the racegoers to the illustrious world of Avant Garde fashion, or the socialites who have an eye for all things lifestyle and culture to the exciting world of horse racing. With the backdrop of the picturesque Cape Town skyline, it was not a difficult decision for Sun International to make the event their own and turn it into Africa's Richest Race Day.
