  • Chrissy Teigen has revealed the family's just received baby Jack's ashes - and how his big sister, Luna, has stepped up to honour and take care of him.
  • Chrissy and John Legend recently lost their third child, whom they named Jack, following excessive bleeding after the former model was diagnosed with a partial placenta abruption.
  • Now, Luna has placed a therapy bear around the ashes, Chrissy revealed, but that's not even the best part. She also left him her favourite snack.

Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram on Monday to share how "incredibly empathetic" Luna's been since the family lost their third child.

After excessive bleeding and being hospitalised, the model turned cookbook author recently lost her third child, Jack, with John Legend – the couple also shares four-year-old Luna and two-year-old Miles. After taking a social media break, the 34-year-old shared a heartbreaking essay – and is finally getting back to life as usual.

On Monday, she shared "the cutest, most beautiful thing I've ever seen," revealing they'd just gotten Jack's ashes back, and Luna put a therapy bear around him, before leaving him a snack.

In the caption of the post, Chrissy wrote: "I'm just thinking a lot about jack today. Our house is very open about life, death, grief, everything really. We try to explain things well and answer every question imaginable in a beautiful, spiritual but literal way.

"I know this is a weird post but I just wanted to share these to always remember my incredibly empathetic little mini. Life is infinitely better with her in it. I miss you, Jack. We miss you a lot," she concluded.
