Elliot Page sat down with Oprah Winfrey for her Apple TV+ series The Oprah Conversation.

In an emotional interview – his first on-camera interview since coming out as a transgender man – he tells the talk show host about his most joyful moment.

"Getting out of the shower and the towel's around your waist, and you're looking at yourself in the mirror, and you're just like, 'There I am.' And I'm not having the moment where I'm panicked."

In his TIME magazine interview, The Umbrella Academy actor shared that he'd undergone top surgery.

"It's being able to touch my chest and feel comfortable in my body for the – probably the first time," he tells Oprah, welling up. "Tears of joy."

The Elliot Page episode of The Oprah Conversation will start streaming on Friday, 30 April on Apple TV+.
