Don't get it twisted – even co-parenting pros Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have their "bad days".
The 47-year-old recently appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show and got candid about raising her children with ex Chris Martin.
The actor was married to the Coldplay singer for 13 years. She went on to have daughter Apple and son Moses with the musician, before tying the knot with Brad Falchuk in 2018.
During her conversation with the Charlie's Angels star, she said: "I mean it's so interesting because in a way my divorce and my relationship with Chris now is better than our marriage was." She added, however, that their relationship is not always "as good as it looks" to the public.
"It's like you're ending a marriage, but you're still in a family. That's how it will be forever.
"Some days it's not as good as it looks. We also have good days and bad days. But I think it's driving towards the same purpose of unity and love and what's best for our kids.
"You take a deep breath, and you look the person in the eye, and you remember your pact and you smile and you hug and you recommit to this new relationship that you are trying to foster."
Apple is 16 years old now and Moses is 14.
Apple is the spitting image of her gorgeous mom, while Moses has his dad's smile.

I can’t believe I’m actually writing these words but... happy sweet sixteen my darling girl. You are the light of my heart, you are pure joy. You are wickedly intelligent and you have the best, most dry, most brilliant sense of humor. I have the best time being your mom. I love our nightly evening chats when I really get to hear what’s on your mind. You work hard to get whatever it is you want to achieve, and you have grit and responsibility in spades. I am so damn lucky to be your mother, you beautiful, kind young woman. Thank you for choosing me. I adore you to the moon and back a zillion times. I’m sorry you are having this particular birthday during these circumstances, but as always with you, you find the best in everything. ??
