Fans are slamming Jordyn Woods once again – this time after she posted photos of her trip to the UAE that showed her wearing an abaya (a cloak-like garment worn by Muslim women to maintain modesty).

Many felt the model was mocking Islam, though, by wearing the abaya and headscarf when she visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

"Triplets take on the Grand Mosque," she captioned a photo with her mom and sister.

Jordyn later cleared the air explaining it's a way of respecting the religion.

"For those of you that don't know," she said in another post, "In order to enter the mosque you must wear an abaya." She added that it was "such an amazing experience" getting to see the beauty of others' culture and religion.

It wasn't all bad, though. One of Jordyn's Muslim followers commented on her post, "Beautiful Mashallah ('God has willed it').

"Thank you for respecting the Muslim community by wearing the abaya. You and your family should ignore the negative comments of some people. Instead of giving negative comments, they should have shown gratitude for you and your family honouring the religion as you've shown great respect by covering before entering the mosque."
