In a rather scary turn of events on the American Idol set, Katy Perry collapsed after a gas leak on the show.

American Idol, now in its 18th season with host Ryan Seacrest and judges, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, started filming last year and is airing in the US at the moment. While auditions took place in Sunriver, Oregon, however, a sharp smell interrupted production, reports Entertainment Tonight.

In a sneak peek released exclusively to People, Katy asks, "Do you guys smell gas? It’s pretty intense."

"We’re getting heavy propane," Luke responds.

"I have a slight headache from it," Katy adds, before standing up. "Oh, it’s bad, it’s really bad."

The entire cast and crew, as well as all potential contestants, were evacuated.

Sirens are heard in the clip before firefighters arrive on the scene.

Then, Katy says, "I’m not feeling good," before the Con Calma singer collapses.
