Cape Town – Kendall Jenner is the world’s highest-paid model for 2017.

According to Forbes the 22-year-old made a whopping $22m this year, with Bündchen – who has been at the top of the list for 15 consecutive years – coming in second, earning $17.5m.

While Kendall’s name became popular thanks to her famous family and their reality TV show, Keeping Up with The Kardashians, she has garnered a good reputation in the modelling industry in recent years.

And while it confused the internet, she was named Fashion Icon of the Decade by Daily Front Row earlier this year.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel has appeared in countless ads, on countless magazine covers and has walked the runway for designers including Chanel, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger.

Kendall appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine’s September issue in 2016 marking a major milestone in her modelling career.

Rounding off the top five highest-paid models is Chrissy Teigen in third place with $13.3m, Adrina Lima in fourth with $10.5m and Gigi Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley tied in fifth place earning $9.5m each.
