A man armed with a knife broke into Total Divas and WWE star Sonya Deville's house over the weekend.

Authorities say 24-year-old Phillip A. Thomas II, has a "disturbing obsession" with the pro wrestler, and stalked her for years on social media before acting on Sunday.

According to CNN, Phillip parked his car and walked up to Sonya's home where he cut a hole in the patio screen and watched her for hours through the window. When she went to bed, he entered the house through the back sliding door.

After activating the alarm, Sonya looked out the window and saw someone on the property. She was able to escape and call 911.

Phillip was later found in the Florida home with a knife, plastic zip ties, duct tape and mace. He admitted he wanted to take Sonya hostage.

He's been charged with aggravated stalking, armed burglary, attempted armed kidnapping and criminal mischief.

Sonya took to social on Monday to share an update with fans.

"Thank you everyone for your love and concern. A very frightening experience but thankfully everyone is safe," she tweeted.
