Beatrice's wedding dress to go on display at Windsor Castle

Princess Beatrice’s wedding dress, which was given to her on loan from none other than her grandmother, the queen, will go on display at Windsor Castle this September.

Her Majesty first wore the dress to the world premiere of Lawrence Of Arabia at the Odeon Leicester Square in December 1962 and the State Opening of Parliament in 1966.

The dress was remodelled and fitted by the queen's senior dresser Angela Kelly and designer Stewart Parvin for Beatrice to wear on her wedding day. The princess married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a secret ceremony on 17 July.
