Cape Town – Camila Cabello was invited to Kensington Palace a few weeks ago – and she took a souvenir with her.

The Liar singer attended a reception for the BBC Radio 1 Teen Hero Awards – the biggest teen event in the pop music calendar, which shines a light on some of UK's most inspirational youth. The official ceremony took place on 20 October at the SSE Arena in Wembley.

Camila said, "I was so honoured to be invited to Kensington Palace to meet and celebrate this year's Teen Hero finalists with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Hearing the incredible things these Teen Heroes have done is so inspirational. Their passion and dedication to helping others is amazing, and they really blew me away."

This week, Camila appeared on BBC Radio 1 with DJ, Greg James. Greg also attended the event, and the two recalled a "triple doggy dare" on his breakfast show.

"We're in Kensington Palace for the Teen Heroes, we were about to meet William and Kate, and I said, 'You gotta steal something. Steal that pencil'," he recalled telling Camila.

"And I was like, 'You triple doggy dare me?' You can't not do a triple doggy dare. If there's anything I learned in my life, it's that. So I did it," Camila confessed.

Greg tattled, but Camila couldn't go back. "He's triple doggy dared me. I have to take the pencil.

"I still have it. I am sorry William and I am sorry Kate."

It looks like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge saw the clip. Below the video posted by BBC Radio 1 Kensington Palace left a comment.
