London — The youngest child of Prince William and his wife, Kate, is celebrating his first birthday!

Prince Louis marks the milestone on Tuesday, 23 April, just two days after his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth celebrated her 93rd birthday.

Prince Louis is fifth in line to the throne, behind his grandfather, Prince Charles, his father, Prince William, his brother, Prince George, and his sister, Princess Charlotte.

He has largely been kept out of the public eye since he was born in 2018, however the Duke and Duchess shared three adorable photos of the tot on social media to celebrate his big day.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share these new photographs of Prince Louis," the caption of the first post reads. The second wishes little Louis a "Happy Birthday!"

The photos were taken by Kate and the royal family-of-five's home in Norfolk.
