Cape Town – It seems mid-May is a hot commodity when it comes to picking a date for a royal wedding.

British royal, Lady Gabriella Windsor - the daughter of Queen Elizabeth II's cousin, Prince Michael of Kent – is set to marry Thomas Kingston on Saturday, 18 May – just a day before Prince Harry and Meghan's first wedding anniversary.

According to E! News the 38-year-old bride-to-be will walk down the aisle at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle – the same location where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wed, as well.

But while Harry and Meghan's wedding was broadcast for the world to see, Ella (as she is affectionately known) and Thomas have planned a private affair, People reports.

A Buckingham Palace source further revealed that there will be no view from outside the castle for members of the public or a carriage ride after the ceremony.

Following in Harry and Meghan's footsteps, the couple will also host a reception at Frogmore House however, the event is scheduled for the afternoon rather than the evening.

Ella and Thomas announced their engagement just weeks before Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot at St George's Chapel in October.
