Tiger in a tight spot - issues 'apology'

Every celebrity hides behind the word 'regret' - it's a great way to admit to your sins while trying to hold onto a semblance of dignity. Okay, not really.

Tiger Woods has issued an official apology, admitting "I have let my family down". And then comes that all important word:
"I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves."

Turns out Tiger isn't just a bad driver (on the road that is). And there wasn't just one other woman. Three ladies have come out of the woodwork and claimed to have had relations with the star golfer.

Club manager Rachel Uchitel still denies any shenanigans with Woods. Since she didn't want the limelight, cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs stepped in and leaked a voicemail that he had left her, asking her to please remove her name off of her phone. He says "My wife may be calling you".

Tiger was indeed a ladies man. Another ho-mance surfaced when 27-year-old marketing manager Kalika Moquin claims she too kept Tiger company when he was in town. Tsk Tsk...

But that's not where this sports star's scandal ends. Although he vehemently denies it, sleaze-teazers TMZ claim that Tiger's wife Elin Nordegren scratched him and beat his car after they had a fight about his 'transgressions'.

Hands up - who's tired of this already? Just buy her a ring or get divorced. Tiger's not the first sports star to cheat, and certainly not the last. But he is pretty dumb to think he could play four holes with one club.
