During an interview with James Cordon, Gabrielle Union confirmed that a sequel to Bring It On is happening.

The movie starred Gabrielle and Kirsten Dunst as two opposing cheerleading captains. There have been five sequels that did not star the original cast.

The 47-year-old who played Isis said: "We actually did a public panel a couple of weeks ago, and they asked about it, and we all were like: 'We're in. Like, we're absolutely in.' It's absolutely going to happen."

The LA's Finest actor went on to say that they all got obsessed with the reality show Cheer on Netflix which brought back the love of cheerleading and that they want to see where the characters would be 20 years later."
