FIRST LOOK: Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in Men in Black spinoff

Cape Town – The Men in Black are officially back. 

Earlier this year we reported that Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will be starring in a Men in Black spinoff 

Filming for the movie kicked off this month and now photos have surfaced of Chris and Tessa in character.

Chris will play agent H and Tessa agent Em.


On Saturday the Thor actor posted a video of himself training for the film.

Alongside the video he wrote: “Outdoor session in London for MIB!! Cheers to @zocobodypro for posing as an alien and letting me beat up on him. Sorry for the boot in the face. #MenInBlack.”


Details about the film, directed by F Gary Gray, are tightly under wraps. But we do know who will be starring in the film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani and dance duo Les Twins, Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois have all joined the cast. 

Rafe Spall is set to play the villain, reports Movieweb and Emma Thompson will reprise her role as Agent O, the chief of the organisation.

The film is set to be released in 2019.
