Cape Town – After ten years the zombie slayers are back in cinemas this weekend.

Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin reprise their roles in the Zombieland sequel. Ten years after the events of the first film the survivors must face off against evolved zombies and even human survivors.

Also showing: Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet in a Woody Allen film, and Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista have to pull off a deadly rescue mission.

HERE ARE 3 NEW FILMS RELEASING IN SA:

Movie: Zombieland: Double Tap

Our rating: 4/5

Short review: If you're looking for something for date night, then this movie fits the bill. It's got a great combination of comedy and gore, and even a little bit of romance. But if you're squeamish, I must warn you, there's lots of zombie vomit.

Movie: A Rainy Day in New York

Our rating: 2/5

Short review: Another Woody Allen movie, another pretentious and neurotic look at ‘artistic’ people that have little resemblance to real life.
