Cape Town - A sequel to the Halloween cult classic Hocus Pocus is in development.
The 1993 original movie starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as three witches — known as the Sanderson sisters who are resurrected and go on to terrorise three teenagers in Salem.
In 2018 Disney announced that a remake of the popular film is in the works. However, that project never got off the ground.
And now it looks like the studio will have another go at for their upcoming streaming service Disney+.
According to Deadline reports that a new film is in the early stages of development with the scrip to be written by Jen D'Angelo (Happy Together).
There has been no news yet on whether the cast of the original film will be returning and details about the plot.
