Fantastic Beasts 3 has found its new Grindelwald.
Warner Bros has confirmed that Mads Mikkelsen will replace Johnny Depp as the wizard Gellert in the latest instalment of the franchise.
After losing a libel case against The Sun over claims that he abused his ex-wife Amber Heard, Johnny announced that he would be exiting the movie earlier this month. The Rum Diary actor filmed one scene for the movie which he reportedly will still get paid for.

Danish actor Mads is best known for his villainous roles in the television series, Hannibal and the movies Casino Royale and Doctor Strange.
The film is currently in production in at the Warner Bros Studios Leavesden and is scheduled to be released in July 2022.
