In a recent update on the Avatar films director, James Cameron revealed that the sequel has finished filming and that Avatar 3 is 95 percent complete.
The long-awaited sequel is scheduled to be released in 2022. In the meantime, the movie's official Twitter account has been sharing behind the scenes pictures.
The latest features Kate Winslet as Ronal, standing underwater at the bottom of a tank recording a performance capture.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 45-year old said that she plays a water person and had to learn to free-dive for the role and that it was incredible. She filmed the movies in New Zealand in 2018.
"My longest breath hold was seven minutes and 14 seconds, like crazy, crazy stuff."
About working with James again, Kate said "it's wonderful". "Time has changed him. Jim has become a father a few more times over. He is a calmer person. Chilled. You can just feel him enjoying it more this time."
