Trevor Noah is reportedly working on an animated feature film for Paramount Animation.
Variety reports the untitled project is based on an idea from The Daily Show host. While the details of the plot are under wraps, the feature will be 'timely, poignant and comedic'.
The script will be written by Jonathan Groff (Black-ish) and Jon Pollack (Modern Family) and produced by Trevor's production company, Day Zero Productions.
A film adaption of the 36-year-old's autobiography, Born A Crime is also in the works. It will be directed by South African Liesl Tommy (Respect) and stars Lupita Nyong'o as Trevor's mom.
