Cape Town – Vin Diesel is brought back from the dead and turned into a super-soldier in his latest role.

In Bloodshot filmed in South Africa – the 52-year-old plays Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation.

With an nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force, stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.

The film which is adapted from Valiant Comics is set to be in cinemas Friday, 6 March.

Sony Pictures has released an second trailer which sees Vin being used as a human weapon.
