  • Beyoncé is officially the female artist with the most Grammy nods to her name.
  • The singer received nine nominations for the 2021 Grammys, taking her total career nods to 79.
  • So far she has bagged 24 Grammys, needing only eight more to take the record for the most Grammy wins of all time.

There's a reason they call her queen.

Beyoncé is officially the most nominated female artist in Grammy history, according to NME.

The singer leads the pack for the 2021 Grammys with nine nominations, including Record of the Year for Black Parade as well as the Savage remix which she did alongside Megan Thee Stallion.

The 2021 nominations bring Beyoncé's total career nods to 79. The singer has bagged 24 trophies so far.

Georg Solti holds the number one spot for the most Grammy wins with 31 awards under his belt, according to the Grammys website. Should Beyoncé take eight of the nine awards she has been nominated for, she would then overtake the late conductor's record.

For now, she ties with Paul McCartney as the second most-nominated artist of all time. Her husband, Jay-Z, has 80 nods to his name, and so does Quincy Jones.
