The colourful ensembles from BTS' Dynamite music video has reportedly sold for $162 500 (R2.4 million) at the Julien's Auction MusiCares Charity Relief Auction.
According to Billboard, a press statement revealed that the amount drawn in by the outfits was eight times more than initially anticipated.
The items were bought by Japanese art collector Yusaku Maezawa and YouTuber HIKAKIN.
Proceeds from the auction went to MusiCares - an organisation which provides support systems for those in the music industry devastated by Covid-19.
Other items that went under the hammer include a signed painting of Snoop Dogg's self-portrait dog wearing a "Doggy Style 25" chain and an original painting of Coldplay's Chris Martin by Billy Morrison.
