Cape Town – BTS is back!
In August, Big Hit Entertainment announced the K-pop boyband would take a well-deserved "long-term break", which would be their first since popping up on the scene six years ago, reported AFP.
The entertainment giant said the band needed to "recharge and refresh as musicians and creators" and take time to "enjoy their daily lives as normal 20-something young men".
But after just a month, BTS is back – and hard at work.
"Wrapping up its extended vacation, BTS departed overseas this morning for an engagement abroad," Big Hit Entertainment said in a statement.
South Korean news agency Yonhap speculated that the band was on their way to film a TV reality show, but their first know event after their brief break will be the final overseas stop of their world tour which will take place in Riyadh on 11 October before their final Seoul performances.
