Cape Town – ’Tis the season to be jolly.

To get everyone in a festive mood we decided to corner some of our favourite musos and asked them some seriously silly Christmas questions.

First up is the pretty, pretty boys from The Plastics.

If you’re still looking for something to stuff your stocking with why not get their new album, In Threes! (Download it here for free!)

This is the psych pop band from Cape Town’s third studio album and they celebrated its release with 3 shows in the UK.

We got Karl Rohloff to answer these Xmas questions:

What’s the worst Christmas gift you have ever received?

My dad snuck a Julio Iglesias record into a collection of LP's he gave me last year. It's currently gathering dust...

What’s your strangest Christmas memory?

I spent a Christmas eve at a dive bar with a few friends, where the music choice was definitely not of the carol variety.

Are you on Santa’s naughty or nice list?

Let's say nice. It's the new naughty.

What do you want for Christmas this year?

An unreleased Beatles album from their mid-60s heyday (if such a thing exists) would be top of my list.

Cookies and milk or eggnog with rum?

Cookies and milk. Let's stay on the nice list.
