In an interview with Radio.com about his new album, Fine Line, Harry Styles reflected on his career choices and said if he weren't a musician, he would be a virgin.

That's right, the 25-year-old reckons that without his chart-topping albums both with One Direction and on his own, he wouldn't be very alluring to romantic partners.

He was asked in the interview: "If you weren't a music artist what do you think you'd be?" To which he half-smiled and said: "Virgin."

In the interview, the Adore You singer also said: "Did I say that Fine Line is the sound of a 25-year-old navigating having sex and feeling sad? I would probably agree with that."

REVIEW: Sex, heartbreak and confessions: Harry Styles just delivered one of the best albums of the year.

Harry, who released a water-soaked music video for his new single, Falling last week has made this seemingly joking quip in interviews before.

Back in 2011, the then-17-year-old admitted he thinks girls would find him ugly if he wasn't stood next to bandmates Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.

In that interview, he said: "If I wasn't in the band, I reckon I'd be a virgin."
