Lewis Capaldi and Dave lead Brit Awards nominations

Cape Town - The Brit awards, now in their fortieth year, will take place at London's O2 Arena on 18 February. The nominees were announced last weekend. 

Lewis Capaldi and Dave lead the Brit Awards nominations with four noms each, while Mabel and Stormzy – who is coming to South Africa to headline Rocking the Daisies 2020 – picked up three noms each. 

Comedian and Netflix's Travels with My Father star, Jack Whitehall returns as host for the third year running.

Awards for best video and the best international group have been removed for 2020 and producer of the year will be announced ahead of the awards ceremony.
